One of eteaket’s Tea Boffins turns up in the Edinburgh Evening News

Thursday, June 4th, 2009

One of eteaket’s most loved Tea Boffins landed a slot in the Edinburgh Evening News this week. What Thom doesn’t know about tea isn’t worth knowing. Click this link for the article http://tinyurl.com/okuhxh. You’ll need to get hold of a hard copy of the paper for the colour photo though.

eteaket and Pret-a-Portea at Harvey Nichols

Monday, June 1st, 2009

The Berkeley’s Pret-a-Portea came to Harvey Nichols in Edinburgh during May – guess who supplied all the vintage china cups, saucers and cake stands? Yes, eteaket. We just had to go along and check it out for ourselves. Anyone that can make edible handbags gets our vote.

Taste Festival a great success

Monday, June 1st, 2009

Despite the freak Scottish weather (glorious sunshine), our pictures constantly falling off the walls and our tables collapsing, we have survived the record numbers who came to the Taste of Edinburgh festival this weekend. We can no longer talk or stand up but I’m sure we’ll recover after some much needed pots of tea.

Thanks to everyone who came and chatted to us and sampled some tea and scones. We’ll hopefully see you in eteaket very soon. Our Chilli Rooibos and Blooming Marvellous teas were so popular that we couldn’t pack them fast enough - if you missed out, they are now available in our tea boutique & cafe on Frederick St. Here are a few snaps from the weekend.
