We are delighted to announce an exhibition with Edinburgh illustrator Vicki Gausden. Presenting an exhibition of tea inspired illustrations and hand lettering based pieces. Available to buy as prints, cards and quite excitingly tea mugs!
The mornings are definitely getting darker, and here at eteaket we are in desperate need of some motivation to get out of bed on these dark and dreary mornings!
So we are brightening your journey to work with our fantastic resuesable takeaway cup, the Keep cup. What a fantastic start to the week! It is always lovely to hear a nice review but to be one of the best Tea Rooms in Britain is just amazing. We are very very chuffed and thouroughly proud of everyone who works here continuing to do a fantastic job!
To make sure that we are always a firm favourite we are adding new and exciting Teas and cakes to our menus and will be updating our website with our Teas of the Week and Month to make sure you are always getting something different.

For a crash course into the world of teas why not pop into one of our informal tea tastings, with one of our resident tea experts. Our first one is lined up for Monday 17 October 2011.
Pop along between 6-7pm for an introduction to the world of teas, a wee tasting or just to ask one of those tea questions you’ve always longed to know.
We are holding one a month and best of all they are absolutely free.
We are very proud to now be a member of B1G1! This means that every cup of tea or tea caddy sold during October, eteaket will give a child in India clean drinking water for a day. We have partnered with 
B1G1 to help give something back – this is only the start so watch this space…
We were also part of Macmillans Biggest Coffee Morning last week. Serving up some rather naughty green cupcakes and getting involved in the green theme of the day, we raised a lot of money that we have donated to the charity. We hope that everyone else’s coffee Mornings were as successful as ours and that a lot of money has been raised!
We are also proud to be donating tea to local charities in Edinburgh. We know the importance of a decent cuppa’ and aim to provide this to as many people as possible
I don’t know if it is these dark night’s rolling in or the miserable weather but here at eteaket we are feeling a little bit lazy! After those festive summer months all we want to do is curl up with a cup of tea (and lets be honest a cheeky piece of cake!). Thats why we are loving our magic tea press, making our tea lives a piece of cake! Just pop a teaspoon of our favourite tea in (ours is Chocolate Abyss if you’re asking) add hot water, leave for three minutes and then just release the tea into your favourite mug. We could bore you with the science, but the design allows the leaves to float freely brewing the Perfect cuppa.
