Amazing Tea & yummy lunch
When in Edinburgh if you are looking for a wonderful tea cafe, breakfast, lunch or afternoon tea check out Eteaket. They are located off George Street and have a relaxed atmosphere. My daughter and I had lunch there yesterday and it was a true highlight to our Mother/Daughter shopping day in Edinburgh. Sooooo many teas.
I will be back!
Tasty high tea
We stopped here for afternoon tea and weren’t disappointed. Everything was delicious, especially the scones! Our waitress was very friendly and efficient, even though she was very busy (the place got full quick!). It was one of the highlights of our trip.
Becoming a favourite!
Eteaket is a lovely boutique style cafe & fast becoming our regular/favourite place to go!Lots of choices of tea & some coffees. Delicious sandwiches, salads & cakes. Lovely staff. Can get very busy but worth waiting or reserving a table. ( You can’t reserve a table in August due it being Festival period.)Earn brownie points by taking your Mum/female relative/girlfriend/friend here for lunch!
MUST SIP HERE!
Eteaket was a great stop during my trip to Edinburgh. They have a great selection of original teas to choose from–I got the rooibos creme caramel and loved it so much I bought a caddy of it. The pesto chicken salad I ordered was also delicious. They had a great selection of salads, sandwiches, desserts and an afternoon tea option. I will definitely sip here again.
Great place for an afternoon tea
This is the fourth time I’ve been to Eteaket & once again it does not disappoint. I can highly recommend their afternoon tea, although it is quite filling. Sandwiches are excellent as are the milkshakes. The choice of teas is impressive, my favourite so far has to be the “Scottish Mist” – I don’t usually like Earl Gray tea but you can hardly taste thanks to the honey. It can be very busy at weekends, but it is well worth the wait.
