Gunpowder green tea has a reputation for being bitter and needing vast amounts of sugar to make it palatable. However, our Gunpowder Deluxe has a natural sweet flavour which means it can be enjoyed unadulterated, as it should be. This tea gets its name from the dry leaf, which resembles gunpowder pellets and explodes into a long leaf on steeping in hot water.
To Enjoy: Use 1 tsp per cup, add hot water that hasn’t yet begun to bubble (around 80°C) and brew for 3 mins. Serve immediately or remove leaves.
