eteaket’s White Peony tea is made from the buds and leaves that remain after the more famous Silver Needle has been harvested. This tea is a winner in its own right without stealing all the limelight (think of it as Emilio Estevez to Charlie Sheen’s Silver Needle!) The fresh and mellow brew has notes of melon, is loaded with anti-oxidants and is very low in caffeine so it can be enjoyed morning, noon or night.
To Enjoy: Use 2 tsp per cup, add hot water that hasn’t yet begun to bubble (around 80°C) and brew for 3 mins. Serve immediately or remove leaves so you don’t ruin all your hard work.
