Values and Ethics
The core value of eteaket is to serve quality leaf tea with no pretensions. We believe that tea should be enjoyed by all, including those who produce it.
That's why we source the majority of our tea from smaller tea estates that we know are committed to the welfare of their workers and the welfare of the environment.

We have personally visited a number of the tea estates where we get our tea from and are aiming to visit as many as possible in the future to build direct relationships and ensure the workers and their families get a fair deal. In addition, our major tea suppliers are members of the Ethical Tea Partnership which ensures a fair price for our tea and a fair deal for the tea estate workers.

Tea is a naturally grown product and a number of the tea estates we source our teas from have applied, or are about to apply, for organic status. However, we do not compromise on quality. If a particular organic harvest is not as good as a traditional harvest, we will select the best traditional harvest.

We source superior tea from across the globe and we don't carry large stocks, ensuring we have a constant turnover so you can enjoy fresh tea day after day.

Closer to home, we endeavour to use recycled and biodegradable materials in our packaging wherever possible. Our bespoke tea caddies use cardboard pulp from sustainable forests and are made from fully recyclable materials.

However, it is not all kaftans and flower power at eteaket, our values don't compromise our commitment to providing a luxurious haven from the everyday, be that in the home or in our tea boutique & cafe.
