We were very honoured to be invited by TED to be an in-kind partner at the TED Countdown Summit that took place in Edinburgh in October.
“Countdown is a global initiative to champion and accelerate solutions to the climate crisis, turning ideas into action The Countdown goal: To build a better future by cutting greenhouse gas emissions in half by 2030 in the race to a zero-carbon world – a world that is safer, cleaner and fairer for everyone.
Every organization, company, city and nation and citizens everywhere are invited to collaborate with Countdown and take action on climate. It is a movement open to everyone – and everyone has a vital role to play”
We served up our loose leaf tea to Global leaders and inspiring speakers throughout the 4-day programme. It’s our mission here at eteaket to empower you to pause & rebalance while sipping on the highest quality, ethically sourced teas from all over the world. From the teas we source and create, the communities growing them to the packaging we bring them to you in, we consider nature’s wonders every step of the way.

Our Team had such a fun and inspiring week and we left with a renewed sense of responsibility and commitment to playing our part to mitigate the climate emergency. Here’s some of the solutions we turned into actions:
? We ethically source our teas As tea from certified merchants and gardens, who are audited to international standards that cover social and environmental issues – namely Fairtrade, Rainforest Alliance and/or UTZ accreditation.
? Our loose leaf tea was brewed using our self-fill biodegradable tea bags.
? We used Butterfly Cup to ensure our cups were 100% recyclable, compostable & plastic free.
? As a plant-based summit we curated a vegan tea menu serving up everything from our Breakfast Blend & Royal Earl Grey to our rare small batch Himalayan Spring & Big Red Robe.
