Hello Summer!
Edinburgh has experienced some lovely sunny days this week so we have been enjoying our new summer tea, Tropical Tease. Tropical Tease is a delicious medley of apple, pineapple, mango, papaya, lemongrass and matte (for a pick me up). It is light, bright and seriously addictive.
We recently made a Tropical Tease Pina Colada and in our Tea Room we made it into a cold brew with a hint of watermelon Burst. All of this got us thinking so we got experimenting and came up with the perfect Tropical Tease White Wine Spritz. Aperol Spritz have their place in the world but we think it is time the humble white wine spritz made a come back. They are easy to make, light and yummy. The perfect summer tipple.
Tropical Tease White Wine Spritzer
Gather
- Tropical Tease loose leaf tea
- Your favorite Sauvignon Blanc
- Lemon & Lime Soda Water
- Fresh Basil
- Ice
Let’s get making..
Cold brew 300mls of Tropical Tease overnight. To do this simply place 3 tablespoons of Tropical Tease in a container with fresh tap water. Put in the fridge overnight and in the morning drain out the tea.
Line our favourite cocktail cup with ice. Add 200 mls of Tropical Tease and 100 mls of white wine. Top up with lemon & lime soda water leaving room for tropical tease at the top of the glass. Garnish with fresh basil for a refreshing topical cocktail!
That’s all there is to it! Perfect for summer BBQ’S in the garden with friends. You could even make a large pitcher of it and serve from that! We hope you enjoy this taste of summer.
