Iced teas!

We think the sun might be threatening to put his hat on here in Edinburgh which is the perfect excuse (like we ever need one) to make some gorgeous iced teas.

To make any iced tea:

•  3tsp (7.5g) of tea  •  1 litre of water

Brew 5 grams of tea in one litre of water following the temperature and double the timing on the tea packaging. Once brewed remove the leaves. Allow to cool and once at room temperature pop into the fridge to chill. This tea will keep in the fridge for 2-3 days.

To sweeten you can add sugar or honey while the tea is still hot or alternatively you can add a sugar syrup. To make a sugar syrup add 50g of sugar to 500ml of water,  heat in a pan or pop into the microwave until the sugar has completely dissolved, then just leave to cool.

When serving your iced tea pour over ice and use fresh fruit and herbs to garnish.

You can experiment with any of our award winning eteaket teas, alternatively we have a couple of recipes that have been tried and tested here at eteaket HQ and we think are fabulous:
