As proud members of the Ethical Tea Partnership (ETP) since 2015, we get to be part of a not-for-profit organisation that aims to improve sustainability, working conditions and equality in the tea industry. Particularly empowering and celebrating women’s involvement in the world of tea. Projects such as Malawi Tea 2020 and partnering up with UNICEF and the Kenya Tea Development Agency (KTDA) the ETP has been supporting women at work creating equal opportunities, changing the attitudes and mindsets of the workplace and communities. By increasing access to education on tea estates young girls are given better opportunities, knowledge and experiences, keeping them safe from exploitation.
