First Flush Darjeeling, Selimbong 2022 | Small Batch
£15.95
This First Flush Darjeeling is an exceptional tea from the Selimbong tea garden in the Mirk Valley area of Darjeeling, India. A light and aromatic cup with a bright golden-amber liquor, the green leaves with silver tips have been harvested in the early sunshine of the Spring months of 2022. Available in a 40g Carton.
First Flush teas are the very first harvest of the year and the young, tender plants produce pure and fragrant teas full of the nutrients and goodness the plants have accumulated over the dormant winter months. The freshness of the leaves are represented in the final tea as the bright green shoots shine through.
This is such a special tea and definitely one to savour; on first sip you’re met vegetal aromatic flavour profile which mellows into sweet notes of stone-fruit.
First Flush Darjeeling tea is amongst the highest quality and coveted teas to be produced globally. The Selimbong estates are known for producing top quality teas. Darjeeling is located in the northern district of West Bengal, Eastern India. Situated in the foothills of the Himalayas bordering it’s neighbour Nepal.
