Yes, Pumpkin Chai is back! It is now available online, in our Tea Room and Concept Store. If you have not had the pleasure of trying it, Pumpkin Chai is a delicious medley of black tea, cinnamon bits, ginger, pumpkin bits, pumpkin seeds, chicory roots and cardamom. It is so much better then any artificial pumpkin drinks, Pumpkin Chai is the real deal! It sells out every year so make sure to get in quick!
Every year we come up with wild and wacky way’s that you can use Pumpkin Chai at home and this year is no different!
Introducing the Pumpkin Chai Old Fashioned!
Gather
- Pumpkin Chai Loose Leaf Tea
- Your favourite Whisky
- Maple Syrup
- An orange liquor (like Grand Marnier)
- Garnish: with orange peel or rosemary
How to make it:
- Combine the whisky, orange liquor, maple syrup and pumpkin chai (strongly brewed for four minutes) in a cocktail shaker with ice.
- Shake well and double strain through a strainer into a chilled whisky glass with fresh ice.
- Garnish with a sprig of orange peel or fresh rosemary
- Serve and enjoy.
Pumpkin Chai Martini
Gather:
- Pumpkin Chai Loose Leaf Tea
- Sugar Syrup
- Spiced Rum
- Ice
- Coco Powder
- Martini glass
- Cocktail shaker
How to make it:
- Make a strong brew of our Pumpkin Chai Loose Leaf Tea, leave to brew for four minutes, remove tea and leave to cool for another five minutes.
- Place 100mls of the Pumpkin Chai strongly brewed tea in a shaker with 20mls of sugar syrup (or to taste), 25mls of spiced rum and Ice.
- Shake until ice is dissolved.
- Pour into your favourite chilled martini glass. Sprinkle coco powder on the rum for the ultimate decadent Pumpkin Chai Martini
- To make a mocktail, remove the rum but increase the tea.
