HOT TODDY WITH AN ETEAKET TWIST!
The 25th of January sees Scots from all over the world get together to celebrate the Birthday of the infamous poet and lyricist Robert Burns. Born 257 years ago this year, a traditional supper of haggis, neeps and tatties followed by a few drams and verses as plenty of toasts are made to the haggis and the lassies (of course!). At the beginning of the evening most guests are welcomed by a Hot Toddy a traditional drink for any possible ailment imaginable (according to Granny) and warming up for the evening ahead!
We’ve got our own eteaket twist on the Scottish Hot Toddy one which you can have a go at yourself:
eteaket Lemon & Ginger Hot Toddy
- Brew some of our Lemon & Ginger fruit infusion for around 6 minutes (the longer the better!)
- Add a shot of whiskey and a squeeze of honey
- Stud a couple of fresh lemon slices with some cloves
- Give it a good stir and raise a glass and toast ‘Gie her a haggis!’
