DESCRIPTION

Sun-ripened green Pu’erh vintage 2015 leaves have been compressed, hand wrapped in traditional pu’erh paper covering and presented in dark emerald green gift box.

Unlike shou pu’erh teas, the leaves have been gently pressed after sun drying and ripened as a compressed tea cake. The leaves are carefully selected by hand and artfully arranged for the pressing process. The greenish-golden hued leaves produce an exceptional tea with a fruity full bodied character. 

Pu’erh tea comes from the Yunnan Province in China.  The tea is lusted after and is a highly coveted variety of fermented tea.  This is due to its unique and traditional long standing history.  In China, the process of ageing tea, like a whisky or fine wine is just as impressive and complex, if not more so.  Ageing the right tea under the right conditions will leave you with an exceptionally unique drink.

To Brew: Carefully break of 3-5g of Green Pu'erh per 300ml of desired tea and brew freshly drawn boiled 100° water. Can be further steeped 3-4 times.
