DESCRIPTION

Our Lapsang Souchong tea has a distinctive wood-smoke taste and aroma. This distinct smokey taste is created by carefully withering the leaves over smoking fragrant Chinese woods, then drying the tea in bamboo baskets over burning pine. Lapsang Souchong is definitely the Marmite of the tea world… but love it or hate it you won’t find anything else quite like it.

For happy campers or pyromaniacs, the wood-smoke aroma will evoke fond memories of sitting round a camp-fire… altogether now, “Ging Gang Gooly.”

HOW WE LIKE IT
To Enjoy: Use 1 tsp per cup, add freshly boiled water and brew for 3-4 mins. Serve immediately or remove leaves. Perfect with or without milk (or, like Sir Winston Churchill, add a drop of Whisky).

Lapsang Souchong • Teapot Bitters (or Angostura bitters) • Brown sugar cube • Whisky • Lemon

1. Brew a pot of Lapsang Souchong and leave to cool.
2. In an old fashioned glass put the brown sugar cube. Add a 4 dashes of Teapot Bitters, a squeeze of lemon juice and 1 part Lapsang Souchong. Mix until the sugar has dissolved.
3. Add ice.
3.Pour in 2 parts whisky. Garnish with an orange peel.
