Ceremonial Matcha – Our Ceremonial Grade matcha

Our Ceremonial Matcha is a ceremonial grade Japanese green tea ground to a fine green powder. Upon whisking it evokes fresh grassy meadows with an astringent edge and a satisfying jammy sweetness to finish.  This tea is also considered to be crammed full of antioxidants and nutrients. Matcha is traditionally drunk hot in Japan by whisking the powder with some hot water.  However, we use it for pretty much everything!  Of course as a tea, but also as tea lattes, in our smoothies, in baking cakes, and even recently in a pizza with Civerinos!

We have some ingenious recipes to get it into any routine! Why not try out our Ceremonial-Matcha-Recipe-ideas for some inspiration?

When it comes to making a Mighty Matcha tea, there are a few implements which will help you along the way… Firstly, a Matcha Whisk with the whisk stand makes making a matcha a million times better than a kitchen whisk (trust us, we’ve tried!), then there’s a Matcha bowl and Matcha spoon which can both be very useful!

Pause, Rebalance & Thrive.

Our mission is to empower you to pause and rebalance whilst sipping ethically sourced, highest quality tea. Our 3 step ‘tea in mind’ process fuses our knowledge of tea with our love for self-care & philosophy by suggesting a series of tea routines.

HOW WE LIKE IT
To make: Put 1/2 tsp of matcha powder into the bowl. Mix with a few drops of cold water to form a paste then add 30ml 80 degree water (or your liquid of choice – orange juice works well too) into a mug or bowl then lightly whisk in a W shape until frothy. Add more matcha or a squeeze of honey to taste.
