Cancellation policy

This Policy applies to eteaket products purchased using Subscribe & Save or another recurring purchase option.

How subscriptions work

When you purchase a subscription product, you agree that eteaket will supply the selected product repeatedly at the frequency shown at checkout and that the payment method associated with your subscription may be charged automatically for each recurring order until the subscription is cancelled.

Eligible Subscribe & Save products currently receive a 10% discount from the applicable one-off purchase price.

There is no minimum subscription term and no minimum number of deliveries.

Delivery charges

The normal eteaket retail delivery thresholds apply to subscription orders.

Standard UK delivery is currently free where the value of an individual subscription order is over £30. Orders below the threshold are subject to the standard delivery charge applicable at the time the order is processed.

The value of separate subscriptions or other orders will not necessarily be combined for the purpose of reaching the free-delivery threshold.

Managing your subscription

You may pause, skip, amend or cancel your subscription.

Where subscription management is available through your eteaket customer account, you can make changes there. You may also contact hello@eteaket.co.uk if you need assistance.

Shopify allows customers to manage subscriptions from their customer account, including pausing, cancelling, skipping an order, updating payment details and changing the delivery address.

When cancellation takes effect

To avoid being charged for the next recurring order, you must cancel, pause or skip the subscription before the next scheduled payment has been processed.

Once a recurring payment has been processed and the order created, cancelling the subscription will normally prevent future renewals but will not automatically cancel the order already generated.

If you contact us promptly after a recurring order has been generated, we will do our best to help. Your statutory cancellation rights and our Refund Policy will continue to apply where relevant.

Changes to products and subscriptions

Where the subscription system allows, you may amend products, quantities, delivery frequency and delivery information before a future order is processed.

Changes will apply to future orders and will not ordinarily alter an order that has already been processed.

Price changes

Subscription prices may change from time to time.

Where we change the price applicable to an existing subscription, we will give reasonable notice before the new price is charged so that you have the opportunity to cancel if you do not wish to continue at the new price.

Any percentage discount associated with Subscribe & Save will be applied to the applicable subscription price in accordance with the offer in force at the time.

Failed payments

If a recurring payment cannot be processed, the subscription platform may retry the payment or ask you to update your payment information.

We may pause or cancel a subscription where payment continues to fail.

Cancellation by eteaket

We may discontinue a subscription product or cancel a subscription where a product is no longer available, there are repeated payment failures, the subscription is being misused or continuing it is no longer reasonably practicable.

Where possible, we will provide advance notice.

Your statutory rights

Cancelling a subscription stops future recurring orders. Your rights in relation to an individual order already supplied or processed are governed by our Refund Policy and applicable consumer law.
