Description

Japan's Distinctive Twig Tea

Discover Kuki Cha Sencha, a beautifully smooth Japanese green tea made from the stems, stalks & twigs of the tea plant rather than just the leaves.

Also known as Kukicha or Japanese twig tea, this speciality green tea uses parts of the plant separated during Sencha production, creating a distinctive flavour that's softer & less grassy than many traditional green teas.

The stems & twigs are carefully processed, steamed & dried to preserve their fresh character, producing a light, refreshing tea with a gentle natural sweetness.

What Does Kuki Cha Sencha Taste Like?

Expect a smooth, mildly sweet green tea with delicate nutty notes & a subtle grassy freshness.

The combination of stems & twigs creates a beautifully mellow flavour, making Kuki Cha Sencha a brilliant choice for anyone who enjoys green tea but prefers something a little less intense.

A Lighter Japanese Green Tea, Hot or Iced

Kukicha is generally known for having lower caffeine levels than many leaf-based green teas, although the amount varies depending on the blend & brewing method.

Its gentle flavour makes it a lovely choice for a refreshing afternoon tea break, whether enjoyed warm or served chilled over ice.

A wonderfully different side of Japanese green tea that's smooth, refreshing & well worth discovering.
