Description

A Classic Ceylon Tea, Light & Refreshing

Discover Ceylon Orange Pekoe, a beautifully light and aromatic black tea from the highlands of Sri Lanka, formerly known as Ceylon.

Sourced from the renowned Nuwara Eliya tea-growing region, this high-grown Ceylon tea is graded OP1 (Orange Pekoe 1), recognised for its long, unbroken, wiry leaves.

And despite its name, Orange Pekoe has nothing to do with oranges! It refers to the grading of the tea leaves, rather than a citrus flavour.

What Does Ceylon Orange Pekoe Taste Like?

Expect a light, smooth black tea with a bright, lively character and a delicate, aromatic flavour.

Unlike richer, maltier breakfast teas, Ceylon Orange Pekoe offers a lighter, more refreshing cup that's particularly enjoyable without milk.

Prefer a slightly stronger brew? Steep it a little longer and add a splash of milk for a satisfying, traditional cuppa.

From the Highlands of Sri Lanka

Sri Lanka is celebrated for producing some of the world's most distinctive black teas, with growing conditions that vary across its tea regions.

The highland estates of Nuwara Eliya are particularly known for their bright, delicate teas. The region's elevation and climate help shape the refined character that makes high-grown Ceylon tea so appealing.

Whether you're looking for a lighter breakfast tea or an elegant black tea to enjoy throughout the day, Ceylon Orange Pekoe is a brilliant choice for those who appreciate a smooth, refreshing brew.

Breakfast Orange Pekoe | Small Batch

A beautiful tasting tea, you first notice how clean refreshing this tea is. I knew was drinking a really special tea when first tasting this. Not finished my 250g bag but have just put an order in for another 250g bag. I long time drinker of loose leaf teas. Had all top places like Fortnums but am really wanting to support small businesses when buying my teas. When its this good makes that very easy HIGHLY RECOMMENDED
