Description

A Strong Scottish Take on Tea!

Tea meets whisky in this rather extraordinary Scottish collaboration!

Europe's first barrel-aged tea, created in partnership with Tomatin Distillery in the heart of the Scottish Highlands. We've blended Assam, Ceylon & Fujian black teas with natural bergamot flavour & a sprinkling of cornflowers, then aged the blend inside Tomatin whisky barrels.

The result? A bold, smoky & fruity black tea with a wee dram of Highland character, but no alcohol!

What Does Tomatin Barrel Aged Whisky Tea Taste Like?

Expect a rich, full-bodied black tea with complex smoky & fruity notes, complemented by a gentle citrus lift from the bergamot.

The whisky barrels lend their distinctive character to the leaves without overpowering the flavour of the tea itself.

Bold, intriguing & beautifully layered, it's a black tea that's anything but ordinary.

The Magic of Whisky Barrel Ageing

What makes this tea so special is the ageing process.

By suspending our carefully crafted tea blend inside Tomatin whisky barrels, the leaves gradually absorb aromas from the wood & its whisky heritage.

It's a fascinating meeting of two great drinks traditions, bringing Scottish whisky craftsmanship together with speciality tea.

Enjoy it black first to appreciate the distinctive barrel-aged character.

All the character of the Highlands, with tea doing the talking. Slàinte!
