Tariffs & Customs Charges

Updated 18th March 2026 - Following U.S. import changes introduced in February 2026, all shipments continue tobe subject to the 10% global tarriff. 

Following the removal of the U.S. de minimis exemption, all shipments are now subject to tariffs and customs processing. When your parcel arrives in the U.S, you may be charged: Brokerage fees, import tariffs & standard customs charges These fees are payable directly to the courier, either online using your tracking number or at the point of delivery.
At the time of writing, UK-origin products are subject to a 10% tariff The tariff situation remains unstable and may change at short notice Please ensure you are comfortable paying any applicable tariffs or customs fees before placing your eteaket order.

Courier Update: FedEx (January 2026) & FDA Prior Notice Fee
As of January 2026, we have made a company-wide move from UPS to FedEx..

This means:

The FDA Prior Notice Fee is now charged upfront. Previously, this fee was included in UPS brokerage charges billed to customers on delivery. You will now see this cost clearly included in your delivery fee at checkout.

We are currently seeing an increase in FDA checks on some U.S. shipments, If your order is selected,  please be assured that your order has already been shipped with all required FDA documentation completed. FedEx has a direct line to our export team and will contact us immediately if any additional information is required.

Once an FDA inspection process has begun, we’re unable to speed this up, although we always assist wherever possible.
