Cuppas for Causes - Our Community Initiative
Our own Cuppas for Causes initiative is the area of the business that promotes and develops our community relationships. We launched this initiative in 2014 to develop a clear outreach function of our business. Since that time we have worked with and supported a large number of charities, both locally and internationally, such as the Prince's Trust, the Aberlour Children's Trust, Cancer Research and Buy One Get One. Current charity relationships
Health in Mind is a charity that has been promoting positive mental health and wellbeing in Scotland since 1982. The charity provides a wide range of services and courses to support people and enable them to make a positive difference in their lives.
Mental health and well-being has grown to become a key theme of eteaket and is the reason we developed our own "Tea in Mind" message which promotes simple mental wellbeing habits for our tea drinkers to use the three minutes on average it takes to brew a cup of tea to pause, rebalance and thrive.
Working with Health in Mind is therefore a natural fit for us.
We donate 10% of our retail sales of our "Keep the Heid" tea to Health in Mind.

Social Bite is a charity and movement that has been working to address homelessness issues since 2012.
eteaket is proud to be the tea supplier to the Social Bite chain of cafes for a number of years and in early 2020 we launched a bespoke tea blend in conjunction with Social Bite.
This is our Positivitea blend and we donate 10% of our retail sales of this tea to Social Bite.

As Scotland's national dance company, Scottish Ballet's mission is to inspire on stage and beyond.
In 2019 the company celebrated 50 years of a creative vision crafted by Scotland. Based in Glasgow, the company performs regularly all over Scotland - from our biggest cities to our most remote communities, and increasingly throughout the UK and internationally - promoting Scotland's pioneering spirit far and wide.
For Winter 2021, eteaket has collaborated with Scottish Ballet to create three bespoke tea blends in support of The Nutcracker performance. These are Sugar Plum Fairy, The Nutcracker and Waltz of the Flowers. 10% of our retail sales of these three teas go to Scottish Ballet.
