eteaket is an independent Scottish speciality tea company, founded in Edinburgh by Erica Moore in 2008.

For more than 18 years, we’ve been sourcing, blending and sharing brilliant tea, from distinctive Scottish-inspired blends to teas from some of the world’s most interesting growing regions.

But we’re also interested in what happens around the cup.

Tea creates a natural pause in the day: a few minutes to stop, talk, think or simply enjoy something properly. That idea has shaped eteaket from the beginning and continues to influence our products, collaborations, events and work with organisations.

eteaket founder Erica Moore is available for interviews and expert comment on speciality tea, tea trends and rituals, entrepreneurship, hospitality, workplace wellbeing, changing drinking habits and the role small everyday pauses can play in how we work and live.

Before founding eteaket, Erica worked as a litigation lawyer in London. She left law, travelled through Sri Lanka and India learning more about tea, and opened eteaket in Edinburgh in 2008.

Since then, she has spent nearly two decades building the business and exploring what tea can teach us about attention, connection and everyday life.

Erica is a regular contributor to BBC Radio and has appeared on programmes including BBC Radio Scotland and BBC Radio 5 Live’s Wake Up to Money.
