Cuppas, Cocktails and plenty of Cake tasting…just another evening at eteaket.

Last week we held an evening at eteaket, our first of many quarterly events in order to celebrate our recent success with our new Cuppas For Causes initiative with Aberlour. The evening included a guest speaker and Tea-Cocktail Masterclass to which we invited along our local wholesale customers and fellow tea lovers!

Alice, our first young person from Aberlour completed her 5 week work-placement programme.  During the 5 weeks Alice was trained up on all aspects of our busy Frederick Street Tea Room gaining invaluable experience of the hospitality industry.  We would like to thank her again for all her hard work and we look forward to welcoming our new Aberlour trainee joining us in the new year.

No evening at eteaket would be complete without some Tea-Cocktails! The evening’s Tea-Cocktail Masterclass courtesy of Lioness Of Leith was a big hit as ever.  After the recent collaboration at Cocktails in the City, eteaket and the Lioness were making Tea-Cocktail magic once again for all our guests, safe to say the ‘Breakfast Cream Tea Kicker‘ and the ‘Earl Grey Zinger’ were a success. These Tea-Cocktail creations will feature in eteaket’s new Tea Room menu.

And of course copious amounts of cake was consumed…all in the name of research (we’d like to think so anyway!) thanks to our star eteaket bakers who always bake the most marvellous Gluten Free and Dairy Free cakes.
