The eteaket three minute timer is a great (not to mention stylish) way to ensure you don’t stew your tea. Leaf tea requires longer steeping time than your average supermarket tea bag. The surface area of the leaf is smaller as it’s not finely cut into the dust-like manner of mass produced teas. Teas should be steeped between 3 –  minutes depending on which type. Simply flip the three minute timer when the leaves are submerged and strain once the time runs out.
