Single estate loose leaf hibiscus tea…

Single Estate Hibiscus – Satemwa, Malawi

Vivid, ruby-red and naturally refreshing, this loose leaf hibiscus is made from whole dried petals of Hibiscus sabdariffa, sourced directly from the renowned Satemwa Estate in the Shire Highlands of Malawi.

Carefully grown and hand-harvested, Satemwa hibiscus is prized for its clarity and intensity in the cup. When infused, the petals release a brilliant crimson liquor with a bright, tangy character often compared to cranberry or redcurrant.

Naturally caffeine-free, hibiscus makes a lively infusion served hot or brewed cold over ice. Its vibrant acidity also makes it a wonderful base for iced teas and spritzers, pairing beautifully with citrus peel, rosehip, fresh mint or warming spices.

Hibiscus infusions are widely enjoyed across Africa, the Middle East and the Caribbean, where the deep red drink is traditionally served chilled in warm climates as a refreshing everyday beverage.
