A massive Happy Easter from us all here at eteaket! When we think of Easter, we think of spending time with loved ones, enjoying good food and indulging in a few treats! With this in mind we have been busy at eteaket HQ creating a new Limited Edition Easter Menu for our Tea Room. We have collaborated with The Lioness of Leith to create two refreshing cocktails (alcoholic and non-alcoholic) that have our Chocolate Abyss tea infused in them (yumm). We have been sampling our new blend and getting ready for National Tea Day (21st of April). You could call us the TEA-ster bunny…
Our Limited Edition Easter Menu
Drum-roll please… we are excited to launch our new Limited Edition Easter Menu!
Our famous Beetroot & Feta Pâté is back by popular demand. Give your vitality the boost it needs and feel the sun on your face with this dish. Enjoy the Beetroot & Feta Pâté layered on a toasted muffin, with a sprinkle of fresh rocket and topped with perfectly poached eggs. It pairs perfectly with a pot of our award winning tea.
For the tea latte lovers out there we have created a Chocolate Abyss Sweet Potato latte. It feels naughty but you can enjoy this sweet treat guilt free. If you are looking to indulge we hear it goes well with slice of cake! For your mini humans we have re-created our famous hot chocolate but made it the perfect size for them.
Wanting those summer feels? Our Limited Edition African Sunset Rooibos is the perfect tea for you! It is green rooibos (caffeine-free) blended with sea buckthorn peels, pineapple, guava, carrot, sunflower blossoms and marigold blossoms. Lovely hot but also refreshing when made into a cold brew. This blend is available to take home in our Tea Room, Concept Store and online.

National Tea Day
This Sunday is our favourite day of the year. A WHOLE day to celebrate tea. What better way to celebrate the day than with a few quick tea facts?!

- Tea was discovered more than 5000 years ago in China making it one of the oldest beverages in the world

Join us this Sunday in our Concept Store (111 Rose Street) or in our Tea Room (41 Frederick Street) to celebrate! Enjoy a cup of our award winning loose leaf (and plastic free) tea. Our Concept Store will have samples of our Limited Edition blend African Sunset Rooibos as well as our Limited Edition Chocolate Abyss Sweet Potato latte.

Cocktail Collaboration: creating an Easter treat
Innovation is in our blood here at eteaket. We have been wanting to further experiment with our Chocolate Abyss tea for awhile now so when Easter rolled around we knew what we had to do. We got in touch with the cocktail experts (otherwise known as The Lioness of Leith team) and described our vision. Their expertise and our tea are a match made in heaven.
We have collaborated to create two cocktails, one alcoholic and one non-alcoholic. Both are refreshing, zingy and bring out the rich taste of our tea.
The Easter Chocolate Abyss Cocktails
#1 – eteaket Coconut & Mint Julep (alcoholic): Chairman`s Reserve Rum shaken with mint, lime, eteaket Chocolate Abyss reduction, old fashioned bitters.
#2 – eteaket Alcohol Free Coconut & Mint Julep: eteaket Chocolate Abyss reduction, mint, lime, topped with soda.
