JUICY JUNE!

IT’S JUNE! And at the end of the month it will officially be Summer.  Here at eteaket we have been staying optimistic that we will eventually see some sunshine by experimenting with our teas and coming up with exciting beverages, perfect for the Summer ahead.  Here are a couple of recipes for you all to try out!

Mint Cooler

3tsp (6g) or 3 tea bags of Perfect Peppermint 
• 3tsp brown sugar
• 1 litre of boiling water
• Ice
1. Brew 3tsp (6g) or 3 tea bags of Perfect Peppermint in one litre of boiling water for at least 6 minutes. add 3 teaspoons of brown sugar. Remove the leaves.
2. Allow to cool and once at room temperature pop into the fridge to chill.
3. In a glass, add ice and your brewed Perfect Peppermint tea. Garnish with a handful of fresh peppermint leaves. Add a splash of tonic for a bit of fizz.

For a health kick – add Matcha and mango!

Mighty Mango Matcha Medley
1 teaspoon of Mighty Matcha powder
1/2 a Mango
1 Peach
1/2 Banana
1 teaspoon Flax seeds ( for some extra
Vitamin D)
1. Pop all ingredients into a
blender.
2. Blitz until smooth
3. Pour into a glass.

Or for a different kind of kick – add gin!

Royal Earl Grey G&T

3tsp (7.5g) or 3 tea bags of Royal Earl Grey Tea  
• Gin
• Tonic Water
• Lemon wheel to garnish
• Ice
1. Infuse(7.5g) or 3 tea bags of Royal Earl Grey in 750ml of gin and leave for 6 hours.
2. Strain the gin to remove all the leaves or remove the tea bags.
3. Serve with tonic, ice and a slice.
