So what is Kombu? Let us tell you!
Kombu (also known as kelp) is a type of seaweed. Once the food of Emperors in Japan, Kombu is considered to have a high nutrient and mineral content. Tests show that it is high in magnesium, potassium, manganese and zinc. As well as this, Kombu is also a source of protein which is great news for vegans and vegetarians. Our amazing Kombu is sustainable and wild-harvested from the deep sea around Scotland!
A reminder of what is Mighty about our Matcha…
Matcha is stone-ground green tea leaf. The resulting powdered tea became part of a ritual by Zen Buddhists, documented as early as the 12th century. It is apparently naturally high in flavonoids! Also, the catechins found in Matcha have reportedly been shown to have a positive effect on the body. Matcha gives drinkers a steady release of energy thanks to the L-theanine amino acid it contains.
